Bashar Jackson, who was also called Pop Smoke, his stage name Pop Smoke (July 20th 1999-February 19th of 2020) was an American musician and rapper. Victor Victor Worldwide & Republic Records were his label. Pop Smoke was a cult a Brooklyn drill producer by working in collaboration with UK producer 808Melo Axl Beats & Yoz Beatz. In April 2019 he released the track Welcome to the Party the lead single of his mixtape debut Meet the Woo which was released in July, 2019. In August 2019, two remixes of Welcome to the Party featuring American rapper Nicki Minaj as well as British rapper Skepta were released. Pop Smoke debuted his first mixtape Meet the Woo in 2019. In April Pop Smoke released his track Welcome to the Party, the song that became his breakout hit. The song was later remixed two times one featuring Nicki Minaj and the other featuring Skepta in the month of August, 2019. It was revealed that the track used UK drill production. This will later appear in his entire discography. This was due to numerous collaborations that he had with British drill producer 808Melo. Mpr Flexin is another single that is popular. After the success that was Welcome to the Party he joined forces with other artists on singles such as: War featuring Lil Tjay as well as 100k on a Coupe which featured Calboy. In December 2019, he worked on Gatti together with JackBoys as well as Travis Scott which is the closing track of The JackBoys (2019) album by Scott and the Cactus Jack members.
