Maria Bartiromo was the first American journalist to live broadcast on the New York Stock Exchange. There are a variety of highly acclaimed shows under her belt. Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn has been an American actor in film as well as stage since the late 1970s. A gifted thespian, she has been working in the world of professional acting for the last 27 years. Her stage debut came in 1990, when she performed an Off Broadway version of The Big Funk directed by John Patrick Shanley. The following year, she was cast in her first television role, The Perfect Tribute. In 1992, when she was a supporting role in the movie the film Basic Instinct, her career took off. The Firm is where she made her debut as the female lead opposite Tom Cruise & Gene Hackman. In the 90s Gwyneth collaborated alongside Hugh Grant on Mickey Blue Eyes as well as Julie Andrews for Relative Values. In the most recent episode, she played the role as Dr. Alex Blake in Criminal Minds.
