Keira Knightley
Knightley, born in London in the family consisting of actor Will Knightley & Sharman Macdonald when she was just six years old was first employed in TV commercials and movies. Knightley portrayed Sabe, a small part as a minor character in Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace (1998). After gaining international fame in the fantasy series Pirates of the Caribbean in 2003 as Elizabeth Swann (a swashbuckling footballer) She was then able to make her debut in the sports drama Bend It Like Beckham in which she portrayed the teen. In 2003, she appeared in the romantic comedy Love Actually and was called a promising teenager. For her portrayal of Elizabeth Bennet in the period romance Pride & Prejudice (2005), Knightley was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress. Apart from Atonement the film, she also appeared as Georgiana Cavendish, the tastemaker on The Duchess and Anna Karenina's character in the title socialite. In modern dramas, she portrayed an aspiring music student in Begin Again (2012) and a physician on the set of Jack Ryan Shadow Recruit (2013). Knightley was back in historical dramas, playing Joan Clarke, in The Imitation Game that was a huge success and earned her the Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Additionally, she appeared in Colette and played the character of the writer.
